Chicken noodle soup is one of my favorite fall/winter meals! Check out this classic slow-cooker recipe that'll warm those cold days.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1/2 onion, diced
3 handfuls of spinach
2 cups whole wheat pasta
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
4 cups of chicken broth, low-sodium
3 cups of water
Directions
Rinse vegetables and prepare
Place all chicken, vegetables, broth, water, and seasonings in a slow cooker and cook on medium heat for 4 hours
After 4 hours, take out the chicken and shred
Place shredded chicken and pasta in the slow cooker and continue cooking until noodles are done
Serve and enjoy!
