A great alternative to your typical marinara sauce!
Don't get me wrong, I love classic marinara sauce as much as the next person, but sometimes a change is necessary! This creamy garlic sauce is the perfect white sauce for pasta!! And guess what... it's vegan!! However, I do like to eat it with a pasta and chicken dish LOL.
Ingredients:
1.5 cups almond milk
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp garlic
1 tsp black pepper
Directions:
Heat water in a pot to boil and add pasta
In a separate saucepan, add olive oil, garlic, and almond milk and cook on medium heat
Whisk oil and almond milk and slowly add cornstarch and continue to whisk until the consistency is a little thick
Add black pepper and keep on low heat and continue to whisk until your pasta is ready
